Information such as your full name, birthday and zip code that could be used to identify who you are or the city where you live will never be displayed on the site. Other information, such as your iCue display name, your avatar and the state or country where you live can be displayed on your personal profile if you choose you can decide whether to display your profile to the entire iCue community, to just the friends you select on the iCue network, or to no one.
Because a large percentage of our community will include minors ages 13-17, NBC News has made every effort to ensure the safety and privacy of all of our members. iCue is primarily a learning environment, not a social networking website. We encourage interaction between our members on the public discussion boards and through our voluntary Friends Network. However, members do not share personally identifiable information about themselves on the site such as real names, photos and hometowns. We also monitor our Discussion Forums to make sure that we are maintaining a safe, secure environment for all of our members. As we continue to expand and develop applications within iCue and across the NBC properties, we are committed to researching and establishing best practices in Internet safety that ensure the security of our members while providing robust, engaging learning and entertainment opportunities.

Yes. All communication in iCue takes place in the moderated Discussion Forums. We encourage vigorous debate and discussion among our members as part of the learning process and will not remove or discourage opinions or arguments that are appropriately and respectfully submitted in this spirit. However, NBC producers will monitor the forums to make sure that we do not have any "flame wars", inappropriate or offensive language or topics, or requests for personal information that may compromise the safety of our members. All members are asked to review and comply with our written policies on iCue forum etiquette, which you can find by clicking on "Forum Rules" at the top of each Forum page. Members who persistently engage in conduct offensive or disrespectful to other members, or who request inappropriate personal information from other members, will be banned from further participation.
